In-Patient Care in our Dog & Cat Wards
If your pet needs tests, more involved treatment or an operation you may need to leave him/her with us. Most pets are perfectly happy in our care, despite many owners concerns at leaving them in a strange place. Our nurses do a great job of looking after the in-patients & caring for them in our dog & cat wards, making sure they are comfortable and well-looked after. Special diets/ food requests can normally be catered for.
Our hospitalisation facilities are clean, bright, air conditioned, with separate dog & cat wards. The dog ward has roomy walk-in cages with comfy padded beds, and cat friendly cages in the cat ward with vetbed bedding.
A dedicated nurse is in charge of he hospitalised patients each day, and care and treatment of in-patients is supervised by one of our experienced vets, Angharad Thomas. We keep owners updated with a daily phone call at the very least if their pet is being kept in our practice overnight.
We are happy for you to come and visit your pet in our hospital at Moseley if they are kept in for longer than 24 hours- please telephone the hospital nurse to arrange this on 0121 449 3716.
