Payment is normally required at the time of treatment (at the consultation or on collection of your pet from hospital or operation) unless we have agreed beforehand to make a direct claim through your insurance company.
Any outstanding monies at the end of the month may be subject to an administration charge and interest at bank base rate +4% calculated from the time of the transaction.
Payments must be in GBP. We do not accept payments in foreign currencies nor sales to countries outside the mainland UK.
For goods & services collected in person or carried out in the practice no refund is applicable unless we have made an error
We offer a full refund for goods, excluding prescription medication, ordered from fivelands.com over the internet provided you notify us in writing or by email within 7 days of your order, or receipt of the goods you have ordered online (whichever is the longer) that you want a refund. Any goods must be returned undamaged, in a satisfactory receipt for resale. Goods that are returned damaged or unfit for resale in the their original state or in the case of food, bags or tins that have been opened, will not be applicable to be refunded.
We are not legally allowed to refund prescription medication due to strict rules from the Veterinary Medicines Directorate on storage of medication. The only exception is where we have made an error, in which case you will be entitled to a full refund of the goods that were given in error or replacement.
